Being named for the park on its northeastern beach, Madison Park is a wealth of parks and green spaces alongside Lake Washington. The neighborhood, along with its joint community, Madison Valley, is secluded as well by the sprawling Washington Park Arboretum to its west.

Beaches and play areas scatter along Lake Washington Blvd. There is a longtime summer hotspot at the Madison Park North Beach, with swimming and a beach for public enjoyment during good weather. With those green spaces and the nearby Arboretum, as well as the neighborhood’s proximity to Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill, the Madison Park and Madison Valley neighborhoods are ideal destinations for Seattle parks and outdoor activities.
